In small group sessions, you’ll practice with friends or loved ones, co-workers, church members, classmates, or colleagues. Shine provides instruction tailored to your group’s needs. A morning or midday yoga session can boost focus and improve mood in the office. Afternoon or evening yoga promotes relaxation after a hard day’s work. Whatever the hour, group yoga provides all the qualities of a team-building activity while reducing stress. Shine will motivate and give your group something fun, new, and refreshing to look forward to.

Optimize your lesson by dedicating a private, distraction-free practice space for your lessons. Shine can help create a comforting environment for your practice by providing mood-enhancing tools during your lesson. Music, aromatherapy oils, and flameless candles can assist in finding a calm and meditative state in your practice. We’d love to discuss your preferences prior to your lesson.
For all types of lessons, students should have the following materials: yoga mat, a thick towel or blanket, water, and comfortable, supportive clothing. While we recommend the purchase of a personal yoga mat for your practice, limited loaner mats can be provided upon request. At Shine we believe that the use of yoga props can assist in enriching your practice. For individual private sessions, Shine can provide the following props during the lesson: blocks, straps, cotton blanket, bolster. For group lessons, Shine encourages students to bring any yoga props helpful in their own practice. Due to limited availability, Shine cannot provide props in group lessons at this time.
